Terms of Service

Last updated: 1 July 2026

Important. By using MyParental you agree to use it only for lawful, authorized monitoring — see our Acceptable Use Policy. Monitoring anyone without the legal right to do so is prohibited.

These Terms of Service govern your use of MyParental's website, apps, and Control Panel (together, the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Acceptable Use Policy and Privacy Policy, which are part of this agreement. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Please read these Terms closely. They include important limits on how the Service may be used and on our liability.

1. Eligibility and lawful use

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract to use the Service. You agree to use MyParental only for lawful, authorized monitoring as described in our Acceptable Use Policy — namely, monitoring a device you own, your own minor child's device, or a company-owned device where the user has been informed.

You are solely responsible for ensuring that your use of the Service complies with all laws that apply to you, including privacy, data-protection, surveillance, wiretapping, and employment laws. Monitoring a person without the legal right to do so is prohibited and may be a crime.

2. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use. We may refuse, suspend, or terminate accounts at our discretion, including where we believe the Service is being misused.

3. Plans, billing and refunds

Paid plans are billed in advance on the cycle shown at checkout and renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time; cancellation stops future renewals and takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Prices may change, and we will give notice of changes before they take effect. Any refund policy offered will be described at the point of purchase.

4. Acceptable use

Your use of the Service is subject to our Acceptable Use Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms. Breaching that policy is a breach of these Terms and may result in immediate termination without refund.

5. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, and content, is owned by MyParental and its licensors and is protected by law. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for its intended purpose. You may not copy, resell, reverse-engineer, or otherwise misuse it.

6. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any particular data will be captured, as functionality depends on the device, its operating system, software updates, settings, and connectivity. Features and availability may change over time.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MyParental is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. You agree to indemnify MyParental against claims arising from your unlawful or unauthorized use of the Service.

8. Termination

You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, or where required by law. On termination, your right to use the Service ends.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will take reasonable steps to notify you. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
